Among the books published so far on the life of Hazrat Maulana Qasem Nanutbi and which are generally available in the market, a small booklet written by Hazrat Maulana Yaqub Nanutbi - Halate Tayyib Maulana Muhammad Qasem is one of them. It has been repeatedly published as Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Qasem in Hala or Maulana Muhammad Qasem Nanutbi in Tazkirai. This is the oldest biography or memorial written about Maulana.
Although this short booklet is not a systematic biography or Tazkira, its scarce information and characteristics make it worth much more than all the post-Maulana Yaqoob works. To be fair, among all the books written about Maulana, perhaps the biographies written by his students, devotees and followers have not received as much status as this little booklet.
